Wayke | 48-Hour Correction Guarantee

Purpose

At Wayke, we are committed to delivering high-quality waterproofing services that meet or exceed industry standards. To demonstrate our confidence in our workmanship and materials, we offer a 48-Hour Corrections Guarantee for any waterproofing work we complete.

What the Guarantee Covers

This guarantee applies to any waterproofing work completed by Wayke that is found to be:

  • - Not up to specification, according to relevant Australian Standards or project requirements; or
    -
    Compromised due to a faulty product used during the application.

If either of the above conditions is verified, Wayke will return to site and begin corrective action within 48 hours of the issue being assessed and accepted under this policy.

Inspection Documentation

To ensure the quality and integrity of our work, Wayke takes comprehensive photo documentation at each stage of every job:

  • - Pre-Installation Inspection

    - Installation Inspection

  • - Post-Installation Inspection

These inspection photos are stored as part of our quality assurance records and form the baseline reference for evaluating any issues raised under this guarantee.

Guarantee Conditions

To claim a correction under this policy, the following conditions must be met:

  • 1. Unchanged Site Condition:
    The client or site supervisor must provide comparable visual evidence (e.g. photos, videos, or reports) that the area in question has not been altered or damaged since the time Wayke completed the work. This includes protection from impact, weather exposure (if applicable), or work by other trades.

  • 2. Defect Cause:
    The issue must be shown to result from:

  • - A failure to meet technical or project specifications, or

  • - A defect in the waterproofing product used (e.g. manufacturer fault).

Issues caused by misuse, subsequent site damage, poor maintenance, or third-party work are not covered under this guarantee.

Reporting and Assessment

All correction requests must be submitted in writing (email preferred), along with photographic or video evidence of the issue. Once received, Wayke will:

  1. 1. Assessment and acceptance or denial of the claim within 24 hours of receiving both the request and sufficient supporting evidence, then based on a review of supplied evidence, and the conditions of this guarantee

  2. 2. If approved, Wayke will schedule the corrective work to be completed within 48 hours of approval

Exclusions

This guarantee does not cover:

  • Changes or damage to the area after Wayke’s completion (e.g. trades damaging membranes, tiling over wet areas prematurely)
    Product issues not related to installation (e.g. faulty product that’s before expiry date from manufacturer)
    Works not performed by Wayke, or performed under partial scope not controlled by Wayke (eg. assisting a tiler within their scope of job)
